In 2010 the WP Group was founded with the establishment of WP Offshore in Eemshaven, Netherlands. As a provider of maritime logistics, WP Offshore supplied offshore wind farms with personnel and materials across borders. Today, with our four business segments Maritime Logistics, Industrial Services, Personal Services and Training, we offer the support our customers need. We manage our projects from our locations in Bremen (Germany), Winschoten (Netherlands) and Riga (Latvia). Throughout Europe, more than 250 technicians work for the WP Group onshore and offshore.
Maritime logistics:
Our services range from broker service, port logistics, ship management, customs, handling and storage of goods to the transport of personnel and equipment to the wind farm and back.
Industrial Services:
With our own teams, we carry out condition-oriented maintenance or repairs on rotor blades, towers and lifts & ladders. Or fulfils special requests for optimisation or retrofitting work on WEG.
Personnel Service:
We put together the right staff of mechanics, electricians and/or industrial climbers for our customers’ projects.
Trainings:
We work closely with the International Qualification and Training Center (IQTC) in Riga/Latvia on training and further education. The IQTC is an independent training institution, qualified in the field of SHE and authorised by the Global Wind Organisation’s (GWO) and TÜV Rheinland Akademie
