Moving cargo by drone, up to 200 kg

Drone Lift moves cargo by drone, carrying loads of up to 200 kg to hard-to-reach locations across the Netherlands. The fleet consists of the FlyingBasket FB4 (200 kg), the FlyingBasket FB3 (100 kg) and the DJI FlyCart 30 (40 kg). Loads are placed to the centimetre using GPS/RTK. Drone Lift is also the official FlyingBasket dealer for the region and offers precision cargo training for flight crews.

Relevance to offshore wind

Drone Lift supports onshore and offshore wind projects. It delivers tools, spare parts and equipment to nacelles, transition pieces and other turbine platforms. This cuts down on crane and vessel time, reduces the need for technicians to climb with heavy loads, and keeps maintenance work going within tight weather and access windows. Drone Lift is also working with crane and transport specialists to bring integrated lifting solutions to the wind and grid sectors.

USPs

  • Lifts of up to 200 kg, among the highest drone payloads operating in the Netherlands
  • Operates under the SORA authorisation
  • VCA* and ISO 9001 certified
  • In-house training and technical support
  • Faster, safer and cheaper than a crane or helicopter for small and medium loads
