In 1976, Nehlsen Metaal Recycling started as Groninger VOP Recycling with paper recycling as its main activity. In subsequent years this shifted to more steel and non-ferrous metals. In 2000, we became part of the Nehlsen Group and in 2018 this produced a name change and now we are known as Nehslen Metaal Recycling Nederland BV.
Products change, clients change and the demand for materials changes. Our flexible and ambitious nature means we are always able to move with the market and we are always ready for the future.
There is plenty of construction and innovation in the offshore wind sector, but there comes a time for replacement or recycling. We have gained experience in processing turbines, subsea cable and various other products from this sector.
We’re not averse to total solutions either. If we do not have the manpower, knowledge or materials in house, we lease it or insource it to ensure our clients are unburdened completely.
